TopSky started as an enthusiast project — a small group of virtual pilots running ACARS on PHPvms7 for the airline's first two operational years. As the community grew and our schedule outpaced what a legacy system could carry, we migrated to NewSky in 2024 — a platform that lets us spread our wings the way the network always deserved: live tracking, real dispatch, automated logbooks, native integration with the TopSky desktop installer.
On 30 April 2022, TopSky was officially recognised as a VATSIM Virtual Airline Partner, joining the global roster of carriers operating in the live ATC environment.
